Centre Manager (Permanent Part-time) – Tauranga
Brilliant Manager needed to run our brand new children’s out of school care programme at Kaimai School on State Highway 29, Tauranga.
Hours of work will be approximately 25 hrs per week Monday to Friday during the school term for after school care. The centre will be open from 2:45pm – 6pm on school days with additional hours required to complete administration, planning, rostering and training of staff, and the purchase of resources. There may be the possibility of work during the school holidays at other School’s Out centres.
This is a management role. Applicants need to be genuinely interested in caring for children, fun, energetic and have the confidence and passion to be an excellent leader.
Must provide brilliant customer service to the parents and children we provide care for, whilst running a successful business!
The ability and imagination to ‘create magic’ during every day activities will ensure this busy centre continues to thrive!
We are looking for someone to commit to the role long-term. In return, we offer training in all aspects of the OSCAR profession, and the administration skills required to fulfil the role.
Full, clean, driver’s license essential as well as the confidence to drive with a van full of children. All of our staff are police vetted upon employment. This is a Core Worker role as per the Vulnerable Children’s Act.

Programme Supervisor (Permanent Part-time) – Tauranga
We are seeking a brilliant Programme Supervisor to help the Manager run our brand new children’s out of school care programme for 5-13 year olds at Kaimai School on State Highway 29, just south of Tauranga.
The centre is open 2:45pm-6pm Mon-Friday during school term time. The successful applicant will work a minimum of 17.5 hours (2:30pm – 6pm)per week on Monday- Friday during the school term . Possibility of hours in the school holidays at other School’s Out centres in the Tauranga region.
Applicants need to be reliable, mature, genuinely interested and experienced in caring for children. Also fun, energetic and have the confidence and passion to become an excellent leader.
You will be expected to take charge in the absence of the Manager. This is a Core Worker role as described under the Vulnerable Children’s Act.
A full drivers licence is preferable as well as the confidence to drive with a minivan full of children.
We are looking for someone to commit to the role long-term. In return, we offer training in all aspects of the OSCAR profession, and the administration skills required to fulfil the role as required. This is definitely not just a holiday job!
This position will commence when school recommences on 1 February 2019, though there may be some training prior to this date.
Training will be provided to the successful applicant in first aid and recognising signs of child abuse. All our staff are police vetted.
