National Operations Manager

Love people and enjoy seeing the countryside?

School’s Out is a provider of After School, Before School and Holiday Programme care for 5-13year olds. We currently operate 21 centres around the North Island and look after approximately 800 children per day. All of our programmes comply with government regulations and are audited for compliance purposes on a regular basis.

School’s Out is an independent Social Enterprise wholly owned by the Wright Family Foundation which means a proportion of our profits goes back to the Foundation for them to distribute amongst the many organisations they support. This sets us apart from many other providers, in that, the success of our programmes directly benefits other community organisations.

We are experiencing significant growth with several new developments currently being negotiated. This has resulted in the requirement to employ an outstanding Operations Manager to join the National Management Team based in Tauranga.

• Childcare or education experience preferred.
• Effective communicator with a strong emphasis on customer service.
• Proven leadership abilities with strong resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity working with government departments desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in driving programme KPIs.
• People management skills including the ability to connect with people from a wide range of cultures and ethnicities.
• Business acumen.
• Sense of humour a must.

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the right person including the use of the company vehicle as periodic overnight travel is a requirement of the role.
