About School’s Out Lynmore

Welcome to the School’s Out Lynmore family. We offer a quality before school, after school and holiday programme for children 5-13 years old, attending primary school.  We provide tailored activities to meet the interests, needs and capabilities of the children in our care. More importantly, we have a whole heap of fun! Both programmes offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. We provide a basic breakfast of milo and toast and an afternoon tea for our after school and holiday programme participants. Our Centre is MSD Approved and OSCAR funding through WINZ may be available to you.

School’s Out Lynmore is privileged to have access to the beautiful grounds of Lynmore Primary School. We are based in the school hall and boast the use of 3 playgrounds as well as the school pool. We also have full access to a kitchen and create all sorts of tasty creations often.

We are all friends here at School’s Out. Each person is expected to treat everyone else with respect. School’s Out encourages the children to make friends, and know what friendship is all about. Bullying is not accepted or tolerated.

Above all, our staff are very passionate about children and make it their goal to engage with them and to provide a stimulating, nurturing and fun environment. Furthermore, all staff are police vetted and child to adult ratios are maintained at all times.

Our Programmes

Our Before school programme offers a relaxing place for children to start their day. Children arrive and make themselves a milo and some toast. They have the option to create art and crafts, help with school work, or play games.

For the After School programme there is a range of art and crafts activities, an opportunity to do homework, a chance to catch up with friends and relax, bake or play games outside. There are also several children who go to and fro to their external school sports. We are all about creating a positive environment for children to learn and develop valuable life skills. We offer little rewards like Scholly – a Smurf teddy one child a week gets to take home for the weekend, and a prize box to reward and encourage positive behaviours.

For our Holiday Programme we include trips offsite to all sorts of exciting places locally, making the most of what Rotorua has to offer and in nearby towns which are specifically created to cater to the needs of our children. No two holidays are the same! Please follow the link at the top right of this page to view our next holiday programme.
