About School’s Out New Plymouth

Here at School’s Out New Plymouth, based at Central School, we provide before and after school care and run popular school holiday programmes.

We believe in “Safe and happy kids, happy parents and happy families”.
Our inclusive environment allows children to develop positive social skills with the support of trained and caring staff.

School’s Out New Plymouth have 7-8 staff working daily through term time to cater for our growing numbers. Our team believe in “following the child”, identifying individual interests and needs and providing the resources for your child to experiment, explore and grow.

Before School Care

In the morning we welcome the children with a milo and extra breakfast if needed. The children can relax and choose from a wide variety of activities before being taken to school. Central school children walk over the field with staff and are delivered to their class rooms. We provide transport to some other schools close by using our vans.

After School Care

Our afternoon routine caters primarily for Central School children. Staff wait at the school to meet the children and walk with them to the centre. Afternoon sessions start with a nutritious snack. The children are then free to relax indoors or outdoors. We have a very limited number of spaces for children attending other schools who are picked up using our vans.
