About School’s Out Lakeside
“The best place between school and home.”
Ko taku wahī motuhake
At School’s Out Lakeside we are proud of our family friendly atmosphere. Our home away from home began in 2006, based on the premise that quality relationships are formed by treating each child as an individual.
As an established OSCAR provider, we understand what it means to provide quality care for children. Above all, our Manager, Dianne Pearson and her team deliver an exciting and innovative programme, suitable for children of all ages.
We operate out of the historic courthouse, next to the Police station at the Taupo Domain. We also provide a pick up service for students from surrounding schools (see list below).
Our pick up/drop off service takes the stress out of before and after school care.
Our centre has a fleet of vans providing a transport service to/from the following schools:
Mount View School
After School Care
Our after school sessions include afternoon tea and an opportunity for children to complete their homework. We communicate closely with nearby schools, supporting and reinforcing their values. A range of activities are on offer including group games, crafts, sports, and baking.
Our holiday programme is another great reason to enrol your child with SO Lakeside. Check out our Facebook page for our most recent holiday programme flyer. Our Holiday Programme is split into juniors and seniors so children can enjoy age-appropriate activities in smaller groups.
